What is Meditation?

Meditation is a a practice of slowing down the body and brain. We all live busy lives and often have so much going on that our brains just dont stop.

Meditation activates our parasympathetic nervous system which slows down our pulse and heart rate. It brings our brain state down from Beta (anxiety, stress) to Theta (deeply relaxed, inward focused).

When practiced regularly, meditation helps improve your overall physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

In an acute mental state such as a panic or anxiety attack, meditation can take you back to a place of calm control in just a few minutes. Imagine having that skill!

Meditation is simple and easy to do, and can be practiced wherever you are at any time. You dont need any special equipment and it is suitable for everyone.including children and teens from ages 3 upwards.

Meditation is relaxing and can be slotted into even the busiest of days.
